About Us

WHO WE ARE

Feinknopf Macioce Schappa Architects is a full service architectural, interior design, and planning firm located in Columbus, Ohio. THE BEGINNING

In 1928, Mark D. Feinknopf started his own design build firm. Early on, projects included many of the nicest homes and businesses in Bexley, Ohio. Upon graduation from Harvard, his son, Mark G. Feinknopf joined his father in the family business. As business grew, Mark G. recruited fellow Harvard classmate, Joe Schappa  and a fellow OSU instructor, Andrew Macioce to join the growing design firm. Around 1980, Mark D. retired and handed over control of the firm. Following this change to a partnership, we incorporated as Feinknopf Macioce Schappa Architects in 1989. Mark G. retired from the firm in 1999 and now resides in Tucker, GA. Andrew Macioce retired in the firm in 1993. Joe Schappa retired from the firm in 2013 and resides in Carroll, OH.
