SIZE: 700 SF COST: $65,000 COMPLETION DATE: 2013

Providing "big fun for little scientists," the Little Kidspace at COSI is a great place for the youngest visitors to get hands (and feet) on with science. In 2012 FMS Architects helped dismantle and rebuild the Big KidLab for kids in 1st through 5th grade accompanying younger children. New plumbing created a wet activity area and other areas were created for reading, video games, and other engaging activities. With the success of this space, FMS helped create a similar area for the younger kids that included a climbing wall and shadow play area.
